Warrant, printed, from Aaron Hubbell, justice of the peace (with his signature) to James Bushnell, surveyor of highway, to collect taxes for highways in Bennington, with penalties for failure to pay, and directions to make returns to selectmen of Bennington. Dated April 26, 1814. Attached page gives Bushnel directions, signed by David Henry, Ephraim Smith and Samuel Blackmer, selectmen, for work allowed in payment of these taxes, with premium for early work. A list of men with their earnings follows.
