Correspondence between William Henry Jr. and a group of business associates including Daniel Barrett, Daniel Stebbins, Peter Bliss, and Solomon Henderson. The letter from Bliss is in regards to the potential sale or rent of the land Henry owns in Virginia.
The bulk of the collection relates to Henry's involvement in a New England Company and the resulting correspondence from Stebbins and Barrett as Stebbins served as the Secretary and Barrett the representative in Virginia. Included, in the correspondence is a history of the land including Barrett's discussion of fraud, a short survey, and updates on the legal situation.
The letters from Henderson relate to business matters in New York and Bennington.
