Description Photograph of two Central Vermont engines that collided head-on at the Ludlow, Vermont, Station in March 1888. Engine on the right is identified as the "Dunmore," wood from coal car on station platform, light in front of smoke stack pushed back. Crowd of men, women and one child gathered at front of trains viewing damage. Second engine at left behind people, light damaged as in first engine, building and chimney in left background.
