Description Hob for making button die created by Scoville Manufacturing Company for making small buttons for Vermont military uniforms shortly after the Civil War. Stag's head surrounded by the words "FULLER BATTERY N. G. V. T." Cyldinar shaped with flat top and bottom. Button for Fuller light artillery battery of the Vermont National Guard. Formed in 1874 by Levi Knight Fuller in Brattleboro, Vermont. He was married to the sister of Jacob Estey who established the Estey Guards in the same year. Fuller later served as governor of Vermont from 1892 to 1894.
