Records of the forerunners of Green Mountain Power, including Bennington Gas Company, Bennington Gas Light Company, Bennington Electric Company, Twin State Gas and Electric Company and Central Vermont Public Service. Includes minute books, meeting notices, annual reports and newsletter from Twin State. Two photo albums show damage after the 1927 flood. Several folders of loose photographs depict the Bennington storefront and office, electric equipment, substations, lines, and buildings, and buildings of Bennington area customers. Later material includes company histories from 1979 and 1999 and large folder of information on Albert Cree.
