War Department documents entitling widows and service members to monthly pensions. Eight documents are for War of 1812 service members. Three documents are for Revolutionary War service members. One of these documents is a copy made in 1833 of an original 1780 document verifying service. Another document is from Elias Nye requesting pension benefits for service in the Continental Army. Note on the back states he was denied benefits for non-service. |
