Subscription list to purchase the Universalist Meeting House in North Bennington, Vermont in order to turn it into an Academy. The subscripers agreed to pay Asa Doty, Truman Estes, and Rufus W. Bangs the money one-third of which was due when William E. Hawks, Edward M. Welling, Hiland Hall and two others agreed to the price of the meetinghouse. On the reverse the latter names had signed that the conveyance of the meetinghouse was acceptable on March 1, 1850. |
