Small group of documents related to the repair, construction or finishing of the Bennington courthouse. Included are promissary notes and receipts, a copy of the survey of the court house lot, report of the committee to estimate the sum necessary to erect a courthouse and gaol, a list of material purchsed, original 1819 subscribers list, and a subscribers list to re-build the court burned October 28, 1840.
