Samuel Safford's ledger commencing in 1771, of Bennington, Vermont. Safford operated a lumber mill, producing cherry boards, oak planks, numerous other wood products necessary in this community. He made window frames, sled runners, looms, tubs, boats, bridge planks, and mill wheels. He records selling timber to Anthony Haswell for construction on a printing press in 1793 (page 70).
