Chester Academy "Evening Star" Volume 1 Number 1. Handwritten and published September 12, 1862. Edited by Eliza and Julia. Similar motto as the 1861 "The Euphemion Adelpln" which was also published at the Chester Academy. Also two more copies of the similar appearing work with no covers. The editorial for mentions the work "The Green Mountain Gem" and the other refers to the work as a gem. Each work contains a number of individual works including short stories, poems, and addresses. Some of the work is signed while others are either anyonmous or the author information is elsewhere. |
