Diary includes account of sailing voyage, dated 1762 from Norwich, Conencticut, to New London, to New York to Fortune's Island. Later entry notes: "Simpson Ellas. His book, Brattleboroug August ye 21 , A.D. 1773. Has other notes, doodles, etc. Also included is a folded sheet of paper noting sales of goods including molasses, rum, butter, etc. (presumably from the State Arms House where both pieces were found).
