A copy book that was column ruled and used to keep accounts from 1829 to 1873. Three different hands, the first from beginning through 1837, a second from 1842 through 1844, and third from 1872 - 1873. Front cover has a view of Gookin's Falls at Center Rutland where the first settlement was made, and back cover an advertisment of "R. Gookin & Co. Manufactureres of Paper. Mill-village, Rutland, Vt. Name written on front cover is illegible. |
