These are copies of original letters of Haswell family members including: Nathan B. Haswell, William H. Haswell, John D. Haswell, and William S. H. Pullen. Appear to be related correspondence of Nathan Haswell to his English cousins. Letters are dated 1844-1845, however there is no date indicating when these particular copies were made. There is one note: "The above letter was received by me in July 1844, and immediately answered but I find I have not retained a copy of the same. N.B. Haswell" Indicates that Nathan B. Haswell is the likely creator of these copies. |
