The earliest material relates to Bennington schools, in particular Clio Hall, the Northwest School House and the Brick Academy. There are several files relating to other education programs or topics in Vermont such as Captain Partridge's Military Institute (later Norwich University), Middlebury College, Granville Academy, the Rutland Schools, Phillips Academy, and the Black River Literary and Religious Institute. The bulk of more recent material dates to 1932-1936 and relates to Hall Park McCullough's tenure as a trustee of Bennington College. There are financial and other annual reports prepared for the board, as well as dormitory plans and information such as news articles. |
