Two commissions promoting Jonathan Edward Robinson within the Vermont Militia. The first is from 1800 and promotes Robinson to Captain in the First Brigade, Second Division of the Vermont Militia by order of then Governor Isaac Tichenor. The second is from 1813 and promotes Robinson to Colonel of the same by order of then Governor Jonas Galusha. Both promotions were due to elections. |
