Document from the Department of the Interior US Patent Office Washington concerning Margery N. Ludlow's request for a patent on a Holder for a Pistol or Revolver. The patents were filed with the patent office on March 31, 1924. The document was dated Sept. 16, 1924. Ludlow's patent was denied. Majority is printed in blue ink except for a note in black in on the left side. The note states that Ludlow will receive a copy of the patents that her revolver or pistol were to similar to and the reason for being rejected. In the top left corner is a stamp that states that the document was received on Feb 22 1924 by Lyon & Lyon. Also included is the envelope. Mailed from "Law Offices Lyon & Lyon Ptent Trademark Causes National city Bank Building Los Angeles." Addressed to "Margery N. Ludlow, Glenwood, Troy, N.Y." The address was crossed out for Ludlow and handwritten below it is written Box 74 - Altadena, California. |
