Glass plate negative of the Everett Residence, foundation construction, looking southwest. Label at the bottom of the plate: "THE EVERETT RESIDENCE LOOKING WEST NO X27" Team of horses at the right, piles of lumber and other construction material, a group of about 14 men stand in the foundation pit, some of them are shoveling, some stand with shovels in their hands. Piles of rubble in the foundation pit. In the background are hills and mountains. The glass plate negative is very dark, so the positive image is very light and over-exposed. |
