This photograph was one of several published in the 50th anniversary edition of the Bennington Banner, December 8, 1953. Captioned, "IN CHARGE OF THE BANNER ADVERTISING DEPARTMENT above are Kenneth Jolivette, solicitor, who has been with the paper since 1952, and George E. Hadwen, advertising manager who joined the organization in 1950." Hadwen later became the publisher of the Pennysaver, a weekly newspaper. |
