Glass plate negative of a small brick and wood frame building with smokestack, engine rooms of the Twin State Gas and Electric Company on East Main Street in Bennington. Wires from the smokestack connect to the top of the building and to points beyond the frame of the image. Two outbuildings at right, horse-drawn wagon in front of main building. Hill in the background slopes upward to the right, heavy clouds in the sky. Inked 1187 emulsion side. |
