Description |
Cabinet card with photograph of Charles M. Bliss, Secretary of the Association which built the Bennington Battle Monument. Older man dressed in a black tuxedo jacket and vest with a white shirt, bowtie and gloves. White hair and beard with very long mustache. Most of beard is trimmed with hair on the sides of his mouth growing quite far outwards. Paper label glued to bottom of card, presumably by John Spargo, as the information is the same as mentioned in his book about the Monument. |
