Description |
Glass plate negative of two small figures (children?) wearing oversized clothing and masks, presumably for a parade. The male figure is wearing a crumbled white mask with holes for his eyes and a kerchief around his neck. The "woman" is wearing a bonnet and a more elaborate (paper mache?) painted mask. The woman is pushing a wicker baby carraige with stuffed 'children' in it. They are standing in a dirt road in front of a large white building. Horse drawn wagon in the background with men around it. |
