This photograph was one of several published in the 50th anniversary edition of the Bennington Banner, December 8, 1953. Captioned, "BANNER LINOTYPE OPERATORS AND THE SPORTS EDITOR. Left to right are William Partenope, linotype operator who has been with the paper since 1946; Walton "Opie" Harwood, sports editor and linotype operator who came to the paper in 1922; and Charles Bridges, linotype operator who joined the newspaper last year." |
