This photograph was published in the Bennington Banner February 13, 1960 with an article by Allen on the flower business in Bennington during the winter and James J. Moore's greenhouse on South Street. The caption with the photo was, "Greenery Under Glass--James J. Moore looks over part of 16,000 square feet of floor space in his five greenhouses on South Street. Flower beds at present are filled with Easter and summer plants which must be rigidly controlled under constant temperatures throughout the winter months." |
