Description |
Glass plate negative of a group of fifteen women and one man, inside the Bennington YMCA gymnasium, standing beneath a large double window with heavy grates on lower sections. Most women wear athletic clothes, two women are in long skirts. Athletic equipment hangs on both sides of group: bowling or juggling pins and long rods with bulbous ends. Identified as a YMCA women's team. Back row second from left is Barbara Burt, fourth is Jane Burgess McKee, and sixth is Flora Burgess Pratt. Bottom row, third from left is Mae Griswold. |
