Photograph by Daniel Farber, 1974, of Headstone of Mrs. Jane Webster, 1797, Bennington, Vermont. Probably the work of Zerubbabel Collins of Shaftsbury, Vermont. The gravestone shows a winged head with a reversed spread single wing with garland and greenery intertwined below and showing a variety of flowers in each half circle. Following is the inscription: " In Memory of Mrs. Jane, widow of Mr. Alexander Webster." |
