Description |
Stoneware cooler from Draper Tavern, South Shaftsbury, Vermont during the Civil War. Grey stoneware with cobalt decoration of four flowers on a branch. Marked "NORTON & FENTON, East Bennington, VT." Two handles on the sides, spigot hole at the bottom, with a cork in it. Brown slip glaze inside. |
