Past master's jewel which was presented to Judge Charles H. Darling of Bennington upon his retirement as Master of Mount Anthony Lodge #13 in 1899. Purple leather case. Pin at top engraved, "CHARLES H. DARLING, W.M./ MT. ANTHONY LODGE No. 13/ F& AM." Second section hanging from two chains, "MAY 14, 1896 BENNINGTON/ VT/ MAY 8, 1899." Blue "G" hanging from this above gold medallion with blue enamel around circular frame with luarel branches. Symbol for the Grange below: open writing compass with sun between the legs, square above. |
