Flintlock musket (a) and ram rod (b). Full stock. Carried in the Battle of Bennington by Daniel Clark, of Capt. Elijah Dewey's Company. "LB" stamped in plate opposite hammerplate. "D.C." carved in wood above trigger. Model 1754 Charleville Musket probably used in the French and Indian wars and captured from the French at the that time. |
