Description |
Shirt and blouse of black brilliantine worn by Susan Conant Robinson in 1880s. Bodice (a) is trimmed with cut out black lace at the collar and down front. Seven decorative buttons down front, with one missing. The sleeves are cuffed with an embroidered design. The skirt (b) is plain. The bottom has been hemmed two inches. It fastens at the back with three hooks. |
