Paintbrush used by Grandma Moses. Long, black painted wood handle and flattened brush with stub where bristles used to be in silver metal ferule. Handle has smudges of paint throughout surface and large smear of white paint at middle. Lettering stamped on handle "10 M. GRUMBACHER...[Illg] MADE IN U.S.A". |
