Description |
Flint enamel glaze Toby snuff jar made as a still bank. Wide brimmed hat attached to the head, small horizontal slot under hat brim for inserting coins. Figure of a man sitting with mug in one hand and pitcher in the other. "Bill Freeman" incised on back brim of hat, "1851" incised in back on coat tails. Glaze has shades of brown, tan, blue, and green. |
