Description |
Bass drum used by Jay Bentley of Sunderland, Vermont. He was a member of the Farmers' Cornet Band of Sunderland. Light natural wood rims and darker body. Name of band painted in red on head (illegible). Label inside, opposite venthole, for Moses Slater, 42 Courtland Street, New York. Heads currently on the drum, ropes, and leather tab ears are modern reproductions. |
