Description |
One of a set of eighteen silver forks used during the nineteenth century at the Catamount Tavern. Made between 1829 and 1850 by William Wilson of Philadelphia, PA. Each fork has a monogrammed letter "F" on the handle. On the back, there is the makers mark with an unidentified symbol, two six pointed stars and "W.W." Handle is curved at the end, creating a double half moon shaped indentation above the monogram. Fork has four tines. |
