Rounded cylindrical shaped wood trunk covered with brown leather and studded with brass tacks, belonged to Gov. Moses Robinson of Bennington, Vermont. Tacks spell initials "M R" on lid center; decorative leather strips tacked over top at side; black metal handles on sides; metal latch; two leather hinges; inside lined with plain brown paper; label affixed to inside lid "made and sold by Hendrick Hall, Bennington" |
