Description |
Nineteenth century metal lock from the Catamount Tavern. Proprietary lock, quite likely sold through a local general store. On the back you can see black metal attached with a nail. Several other holes on the back and the front. Front has key hole on the left side. At each corner are nail holes. The back of the board is brown, front is painted purple/red. Stamped on side: "RUSSELL, / ERWIN & CO." and on bottom "19". |
