Description |
Powder horn. Plain. Wooden plug with metal hook attached. Carved ring near pour end. Owned and carried by Daniel Smith. He used it in the Battle of Bennington. Daniel Smith, his brother, John Smith, and their father, Captain John Smith, all fought in the Battle. Captain Smith was in charge of guarding prisoners in the Meeting House. |
