Description |
Child's soldier suit. Jacket (a) and pants (b). Belonged to Earl Eugene Cobleigh, born in 1915. He died young in Bennington. The suit is ca. 1920. Khaki colored wool "doughboy" uniform. Jacket has four front pockets. Resin buttons with American eagle motif down front. Pants have same buttons on side of each leg. Two plain buttons at waist. One back pocket. Appears to have been made from a World War I era United States Army uniform. |
