Black dress made by Claire Van Vliet from woven wool fabric designed by Ruth Kellogg Fredenthal for Norman Norell. Simple design, long sleeves of different black wool fabric. Very long with slight A-line skirt. "V" shaped neck. Fabric has woven chevron design, presumably intended as a suit material by Norell. Fabric made by Bennington Weavers. |
