Description |
Hound-handled Rockingham glaze pitcher. Imprint in bottom of pitcher: "BALLARD AND BROTHERS / BURLINGTON VT" Light brown glaze, even coloring. Molded hunt chase on the lower portion of the pitcher, with flower and grass designs on the shoulders of the vase (trademark of Ballard and Brothers). Floral design also circles the top portion of the pitcher and underneath the spout. |
