(a) Radioptican opaque projector. Serial No. 423. This model is gas illuminated and is equipped with gas burners. The lens is wrapped in tissue paper and stored inside the body of the projector. There is an extra woven mantle (b) for the burners, which is in its original shipping tube, labeled "Special First Quality Cap Mantle / Designed and manufactured expressly for use in Radiopticans for numbers 313-323-333) / Sold exclusively by Radioptican Dealers / H.C. White Co. North Bennington, Vt. U.S.A" Back panel slides in and out on tracks. Two cylindrical vents at top. |
